On Friday 22 February Te Pouahi 15 were involved in the Senior School swimming Carnival. We had been preparing for weeks and finally it the day had come!
There were 26 events in total and the tamariki raced their own gender and age group. We also had a mixture of novelty events for our swimmers that did not feel confident racing in other events. The weather was splendid and all participants should be very proud of themselves. I am very proud of all of the tamariki in my class and everybody took part! We also have three class representatives representing our Kura at the interschool swimming carnival held at Hampden St Primary school on Tuesday 5 March starting at 1:30pm approximately. Good luck to Luke, Sofie, Lucy and Gracie!
